User management in the API Catalogue
An API CatalogueOpens in a new window. user ID is automatically created for new organisations joining the Data Exchange Layer. The organisation can then manage its users and their access privileges as well as invite new users.
Organisation admin IDs
You will receive an email link to create a password when your organisation has finalised joining the Data Exchange Layer. If your organisation has already joined the Data Exchange Layer and you require a user ID for the API Catalogue, ask your organisation’s current administrator to add you as a member to your organisation. If your organisation does not have an administrator or you do not know who is the administrator, contact API Catalogue maintenance at palveluvayla@palveluvayla.fi.
The API Catalogue features three different user roles with different access privileges:
- Administrator rights: viewing, adding, editing, and removing subsystems i.e. APIs, and managing the members of an organisation
- Editor rights: viewing, adding, and editing subsystems
- Member rights: viewing subsystems
All users must have a user ID, password, status and role. Users can also be provided with a description and name, but this is voluntary information.
