User support

The PTV-foorumi has channels for different types of discussions. When you register at the forum, you automatically join all channels. You can, however, decide, which of them you follow on an active basis.

The Digital and Population Data Services Agency does not consider questions asked at the PTV-foorumi or inadequacies reported there as error messages and does not automatically report them as error tickets. You can, however, discuss any errors or problems at the forum at general level. If you want to report errors in the FSC user interface or need support, you should contact FSC support at ptv-tuki@dvv.fi.

If necessary, moderators of the Digital and Population Data Services Agency take part in the discussions, provide information on topical issues and answer questions. They also have the right to delete inappropriate messages. The moderators follow the discussion during office hours.

Terms of use and privacy

By joining the PTV-foorumi, you also accept the terms of use for Slack. The Digital and Population Data Services Agency is not the controller of the data saved in Slack. You should never write any confidential information at the PTV-foorumi or make any such information available at the forum as attachments. The Digital and Population Data Services Agency never publishes any confidential information at the forum.

You can create a user ID and a set ID for the PTV-foorumi for yourself, which will not reveal your name or the name of your organisation. Thus, if you want, you can discuss matters and express your opinions at the forum anonymously.
