User interface of the Finnish Service Catalogue
The primary way to produce data for the Suomi.fi Finnish Service Catalogue is to describe it through the FSC user interface. An approved FSC user permit application is a requirement for using the user interface.

The user interface uses the HTTPS protocol.
Finnish Service Catalogues Customer Test Environment
The Finnish Service Catalogues Customer Test Environment can be used
- to learn and experiment with the Suomi.fi Finnish Service Catalogue user interface
- to test the API.

Finnish Service Catalogue Application Programming Interfaces
The Finnish Service Catalogue has been implemented with open source code. The application has an open REST/JSON interface.
The Suomi.fi Finnish Service Catalogue offers two APIs: the in-interface and the out-interface.
The geographic coordinate standard used is EPSG 3067.

Out-interface
The data described in the Suomi.fi Finnish Service Catalogue can be used freely through the open out-interface without separate user rights or identification.

In-interface
An organisation may implement an in-integration in the FSC if it has an independent system with service data that is up to date, has customer-oriented descriptions and is structured in a way that is compatible with the FSC data model.
