Example solutions of the security server’s network environment for the service provider
This article describes example solutions of the security server’s network environment for the service provider to connect Data Exchange Layer’s test and production environment (FI-TEST and FI).
Option 1
A self-implemented virtual server and a separate information system from which information is retrieved (traditional solution without load balancing).
Option 2
Self-implemented virtual servers and a separate information system where the service is offered in the Data Exchange Layer (traditional solution with separate certificates on both servers, X-Road software handles load balancing).
Option 3
Self-implemented virtual servers and a separate load balancer, with which the service is offered in the Data Exchange Layer (servers have the same certificates, a separate load balancer handles the load balancing).
