Business rules for the interpretation of API data

These instructions describe the business rules and data interpretation principles for API version 12 to allow for the correct and uniform use of FSC interface data.

This page is preliminary and will be supplemented during autumn 2026.

Who are the instructions for?

These instructions are for organisations using the Finnish Service Catalogue (FSC) API, which retrieve data in the FSC and/or import data to the FSC. The instructions support the correct interpretation and uniform use of interface data. The instructions are particularly intended for

• users of the FSC API (developers, integration planners and implementers) and
• designers of websites using FSC data.
