Technical description
WS, SFTP and SMTP interfaces will be discontinued on 1 January 2027
- The legacy Suomi.fi Messages interfaces (WS, SFTP and SMTP) are in maintenance mode, and no new functionalities will be developed for them. All legacy interfaces will be discontinued on 1 January 2027.
- All services using Suomi.fi Messages must migrate to the REST interface no later than 31 December 2026.
Your organization can use a REST interface to send and receive Suomi.fi Messages. In addition, you can use the POST API to for forwarding forms filled in by end-users in your e-service to Suomi.fi Messages. Connection to Suomi.fi Messages is established through a direct integration when using both the REST and POST interfaces.
