How to describe a webpage?
Webpage is one of the five types of service channel in the Suomi.fi Finnish Service Catalogue. A webpage gives customers more information about the service that the service channel is connected to.
Since webpages are meant to offer additional information, use them as the service channel of a service with caution and mainly to support other service channels. Try to direct customers primarily to service channels where they can manage their affairs or receive services directly. Such service channels include e-services, printable forms, telephone services and service locations.
General instructions for entering information about different service channels are available on the Shared description instructions for service channels page. The common guidelines describe how to give basic information about a service channel and its interoperability, accessibility, user support and service times.
Tip! When writing the description of a webpage in the above-mentioned basic information for a service channel, clearly state the topic that the webpage has additional information on and, if necessary, also give instructions on how to use the webpage. A short explanation is enough.
This page contains instructions for entering more detailed information for a webpage service channel. The information is entered on the “Edit service channel” page under “Service channel details”.
