Questions on end-users
No, they cannot. When an end user has given their consent to electronic messaging, the consent applies to all organisations that use Suomi.fi Messages. In other words, an end user cannot configure the settings separately for individual senders in Suomi.fi Messages.
The end-user can reply to received messages or initiate communication with a client organisation if the organisation has enabled two-way communication. Information on receiving messages in your organisationOpens in a new window..
The end-user's email address is a mandatory piece of information when the end user gives consent to electronic messaging. After this, notifications of new messages cannot be blocked as long as the consent is valid. The end user is responsible for the accuracy of the email address reported to Suomi.fi Messages. A notification on a received message is sent to the email address as well as the Suomi.fi mobile application, if installed. The end user is responsible for reading the received messages.
You can view the end-user interface and instructions on the Suomi.fi/messages. The page includes
- the service accessibility statement
- additional information on the impact of different life events on Suomi.fi Messages
- other information relevant to the end-users, including information to support the design of your use case and provision of guidance and advice to your clients.
