Questions on paper mail and TKJ service
The Digital and Population Data Services Agency has selected the provider of the printing, enveloping and distribution service for Suomi.fi Messages client organisations in a centralised tendering process. An organisation using the service does not need to conclude its own agreement on using the paper printing service.
To use the service, a client must have a Suomi.fi Messages access licence, be entitled to use Suomi.fi Messages also for sending electronic communication and join the printing, enveloping and distribution service. A Suomi.fi Messages client organisation may connect to the printing, enveloping and distribution service at any time and as a rule, you do not need to wait until the expiry of a previous contract your organisation have concluded independently. However, this rule does not apply in a situation where the previous agreement limits the right to use other similar services while this previous agreement is still in effect. If you wish, you can also use your own corresponding mailing service instead of the centralised printing, enveloping and distribution service purchased by the Digital and Population Data Services Agency, but in this case you must integrate with the mailing service yourself. Suomi.fi Messages does not allow sending printing, enveloping and distribution messages to another mailing service.
The printing and enveloping service for the Digital and Population Data Services Agency is produced by Posti Messaging Oy. Distribution services are provided by Posti Jakelu Oy. The current agreement with the service provider is valid until 1 October 2026. The Digital and Population Data Services Agency will put the contract out to tender again at the end of the contract period.
