Deployment of the printing, enveloping and distribution service
The printing, enveloping and distribution service (TKJ service) makes it possible to send paper mail through Suomi.fi Messages. You can read about the functionality in more detail on the page Sending paper mail.
Please note that the TKJ service is available only if your organisation also uses Suomi.fi Messages to send messages electronically. Additionally, the TKJ service can be used only with the following dispatch interfaces:
REST API
WS API
SFTP API
The printing, enveloping and distribution service is not available via the email interface, the SMTP API.
You will find the different stages of the deployment process of the TKJ service below. It is advisable to already enable the TKJ service as part of the deployment process of Suomi.fi Messages so that you can plan the entire process at the same time.
By joining the TKJ service, your organisation becomes a party to the agreement between the Digital and Population Data Services Agency and Posti Messaging Oy concerning the printing, enveloping and distribution services for Suomi.fi Messages.
No separate agreement between your organisation and DVV or Posti Messaging Oy is required. DVV has carried out a competitive tendering process for the TKJ service on behalf of the customer organisations of Suomi.fi Messages.
All contact information provided on the TKJ order form will be added to the email distribution list used for communicating updates, disruptions and other current issues related to the TKJ service for Suomi.fi Messages.
Invoices can be itemised by cost pool. If you want to have your invoices itemised, familiarise yourselves with the Itemisation of invoicing functionality (in Finnish).
The Digital and Population Data Services Agency forwards the information submitted by you to Posti Messaging Oy.
Posti Messaging Oy will send the TKJ identifier (Posti Messaging Oy also uses the terms supplier reference or iPost client ID) required for using the TKJ service and the password linked to it to the general contact person notified by you.
The content that will be sent to the end user as paper mail must be submitted to Suomi.fi Messages in one PDF file, the formulation of which must be compatible with Posti’s iPost service. You will find descriptions of appropriate formulation of the content of the PDF in the Design instructions for sending lettersOpens in a new window. (Posti). It is important to follow the instructions so that the messages can definitely be sent on paper and the recipient will be able to see all the necessary information in them.
Also remember to test the sending of paper mail through the TKJ service. More information about testing is available in section 5 on the page Technical deployment and on its subpage Instructions for testing. Begin by testing that your electronic transmissions are in working order. Once you have determined that your electronic transmissions work, you can test the functionality of the printing, enveloping and distribution service.
When you have successfully tested the functioning of your connection, you can move on to production use according to section 7 on the Administrative deployment page.
Once you have moved to production, your organisation can start to use the TKJ service.
