How to copy a content as a template for new content
Please note! The option of copying more than one content between organisations as mass functionality has been removed from the user interface.
You can copy any existing service, service channel or service collection as a template for new content. The content to be copied does not need to be a content of your own organisation.
All fields are copied to the new content, and your main organisation is automatically entered as the organisation with main responsibility.
Do as follows:
Find the service or service channel that you want to copy as a template for new content. Open the content. You do not need to move the content to editing state.
Open Functions menu.
Scroll to Copy as template. Click Copy as template.
Select the content language versions that you want to copy as a template. Click Copy.
You are immediately taken to the content generated as a copy.
Carefully edit the content of the fields before publication. If you copy the content from the content of your own organisation, you cannot save the content created as a copy with the same name. Rename the content before saving the content as incomplete. If you copy the content from the content of another organisation, you can save the content with the same name for your own organisation.
