Where can I view the content version history?
You can view the version history of any content when you open the content and open its History details menu.
In the history details, you can view changes to the content in question made by users or the system.
The content's history details shows the following information:
The revision history describes the status changes made to the content, when the changes have been made and by whom. If an FSC app is shown as the function making the change, this means that the change was made automatically by the system.
You can also view the previous version in the revision history.
The revision history also describes why the previous content versions have been archived. The versions may have been archived because
- the user has archived the content using the Archive content function,
- the user has specified the date on which the content should be archived,
- the user has edited the information and published a new version of the content,
- the content has been archived because its main organisation has been archived, or
- the system has archived the content automatically because it had not been updated for 18 months (this feature was in use in the FSC until early 2023).
The connection history describes which connections have been made or deleted in the content. The authors and dates of the connections and deletions are also shown. If an FSC app is shown as the function making the change, this means that the change was made automatically by the system.
The translation order history lists the translation orders made of the content, the parties that have ordered the translations and the dates on which the translations have arrived.
You are shown the Added to service collections section when an organisation has added a content to a service collection that it has created. The section is not displayed if the content has not been added to any service collection.

Under Identification details, you can see the unique FSC content identifier (FSC ID). It is a long sequence of letters and digits. You can use the FSC ID to search for contents in the FSC user interface. At least for the time being, the FSC ID is also shown in the Suomi.fi Web Service at the end of the web address of the service or service channel page.
Each content version also has its own version identifier and version number, which you can see under Identification details.
