Your organisation can manage the way in which a message sent as paper mail is printed. This allows you to ensure that the message sent as paper mail will be delivered to the end user exactly as you wish.

Colour and two-sided printing

When sending a message, your organisation must specify if the message should be printed in black and white or in colour.

In addition to the content colour, your organisation should define if the message is printed on one or two sides.

Please note that the printing method you select affects the cost of sending the message. Paper mail deliveries are charged for in accordance with the price list specified in the agreement between the Digital and Population Data Services Agency and Posti Messaging Oy. Rotating landscape pages

The pages in a message sent as paper mail, in other words a single PDF file, must be the size of a portrait A4 sheet. Excessive content is automatically cut off from pages larger than this.

By using the Rotate landscape pages functionality, your organisation gives its permission to attempt to identify landscape pages in your file and rotate them (to portrait orientation) before directing the message to delivery as paper mail. This way you can still send landscape pages in electronic messages, however ensuring that they are processed correctly before sending as paper mail.
